Hi, Renee here wanting to share my scraplift of Kimmys layout for March.

As you can see I scrap in an 8.5 x 11 style so project life cards came in very handy for making this layout work for me.

Behind on the Holidays!

Using Kimmy's LO for inspiration I got to scrap a few pictures I had from Christmas Eve 2011 and even used her card to get my own card done too!

Here is the LO I used different sized papers and turned them to fit my pictures and alphas!

Here is the card I made using the layered word letters that have been in my stash waiting to be put to use!

Hi, I'm very excited to be a GDT for the month...what an honor.  

I'm a wife, empty nester to three grown children, and Mamaw to three grandsons...that I adore. I live in Florida and love the sunshine. I have a passion for scrapbooking family memories and look forward to any free time to create in my scraproom. My family is very supportive of me. My daughter and son in law bought me my first Cricut and my daughter is the one who encouraged me to start a blog and enter challenges. I was hooked right after I got my first follower and won my first challenge! I would love to have you come and visit me and if you like what you see become a follower!

A Challenge for a Simple Scrapper!

Do you ever look at a layout and absolutely love it, but think that it is not your style? 

Well, therein a challenge lies!  A chance to jump out of the comfort zone! 

I thought Kimmy's layout this month was spectacular! 

But simple scrapper me was completely overwhelmed at how I was going to

do justice to lift her layout.  Well, here it is . . .

I think I did it!!!!  I am thrilled with the way it turned out! 

And I love that I finally scrapped these pictures of my boys from 6 years ago!

Just needed the right inspiration to do it!

Birthday wishes

Birthday wishes

Happy birthday to you!  Kathleen her and yea, it's my son's birthday month and this year he will become a first time dad.  So, I am going through all my old photo albums and making a scrapbook for him to show his little one what he looked like at different ages. Here he is at three.

This is XOXO Scrapbooking March scrap lifting challenge.  It is based on a 4x4 grid.  You can put pictures in fours squares or you can mix and match.  This is a great way to use up those bits and pieces of papers that always seem to be left over after a project. I have quite a few 6x6 pads of paper that are just perfect for this type of sketch.   I hope you will join us and maybe next month you will be our Guest Designer!
